The pane on the right-hand side of the visitor list gives details about your visitors and their behaviour on your site.
To see the details of a visit either click on the business in the list or cycle through the visits using the green navigation arrows.
Key information for the visiting business including links to their social media profiles and their website are always visible at the top of the pane and the 'about' tab has furthermore detailed information. All of which is key to deciding whether you want to contact them. The visit history tab also helps with this process as it lets you see exactly which pages the visitor viewed.
Initially, details for the currently selected visit are shown, including which pages were viewed and how long they were viewed for.
This gives great insight into exactly what the visitor was looking for and is an ideal starting point to work out who in the organisation to contact and key points to raise with them during your introduction.
Clicking on the show more button reveals the rest of that business's visits to give even more insight into what they were looking for.
If this is a new lead, then the contacts tab will help you to find an appropriate person to get in touch with.
As well as providing all of this information, there are also various actions you can take here. In the 'Actions' tab, you can categorise the business, assign it to one of your colleagues, create a lead for them, email them the visit details, or simply enter a note about that business or the visit.
You can also assign and categorise businesses from this menu, which also allows you to change the business status.
And finally, there's an option to open the pane in a separate page.
It's also possible to change the business status from the indicator at the top of the page and next to this there are two buttons.
One exports the details of the visit to excel making it easy to share the information about a visit with your colleagues and the other one adds the business to your watch list which will trigger an email to be sent to you every time that business visits.
You can view and manage your watch list via Reports > Watch List.
