The Visitor Statistics Report offers valuable insights into who visits your site and how they engage with it by providing detailed performance metrics specific to your website.
The report provides detailed information on industries, countries, devices, and more, offering marketeers valuable performance metrics to effectively measure and enhance their marketing efforts.
To get started with the Visitor Statistics Report, first select your preferred date range, either by choosing from the preset options in the dropdown menu or by setting a custom start and end date. For this example, we will use the month of July. Once your date range is set, you can decide what specific data you want displayed in the report, with options including browser types, visitor countries, UK counties, device types, employee size bands of visiting businesses, industries represented by your visitors, operating systems in use, as well as the screen sizes and colours your website visitors are using. This flexibility allows for a comprehensive and tailored analysis of your website's audience and engagement metrics.
Each report type offers valuable, unique insights into your website and marketing performance, helping you better understand your audience and refine your strategy.
You can tailor your report to display either all visits, including those from unidentified businesses, or limit it to matched visits only by using the toggle here. This flexibility allows you to analyse your audience at the level of detail that best suits your needs, in this case, by examining visitor data by country. Please note, not all report types can switch between the two results.
At the top of the report, a pie chart visually illustrates the distribution of visitors by country, giving you an at-a-glance understanding of your global audience. Directly below, a detailed table presents each country alongside its percentage share of total visits and the absolute number of visits, allowing you to quickly compare and analyse your website’s reach across different regions. Each report type will provide the relevant metrics they represent
If you enable the “ Matched visits ” option, you can view a list of companies from each country by clicking the relevant button here. This will display all visits from that country, providing details such as the company name, town, country, website link, telephone number, and the assigned user within your portal. This feature allows you to easily access and review comprehensive information about each visiting company.
For a more focused analysis, you can choose to display only unique visits, ensuring each company appears just once in your report. This option helps you quickly identify the breadth of your audience without duplications. Simply click on a company name to access the visit details screen, where you’ll find comprehensive information about that visitor, including their page journey and any potential contacts. These flexible viewing options make it easy to explore both high-level trends and in-depth details tailored to your marketing needs.
When you’re ready to share or further analyse your data, the Visitor Statistics Report offers a variety of export options to suit your needs. You can download the specific data currently displayed in your report, or choose to export all available data across every report type for a comprehensive overview. If you prefer to share insights with colleagues, you have the option to email either the data shown in your current view or the complete set of report data directly to yourself or other users. These export and email features provide flexible ways to access, distribute, and review your website’s visitor information, ensuring you have the right insights when you need them.
