Getting Started
To help you get started, Lead Forensics provides pre-populated business statuses, but you can create, edit, show, or hide them based on your needs.
Business Statuses are managed via Setup > Business Status. To create a status, simply enter the title of the use case and click the 'add' icon at the end of the input field.
Edit a Status
To edit an existing status, click the edit icon against the status you wish to amend, then enter the title that represents the use case and click out of the input field or hit enter to save.
Show/Hide
You can show or hide any status in your Portal by using the checkbox against the status in question.
Hidden statuses allow you to activate or deactivate them when needed, keeping your data structured and relevant.
Status in the Visitor List
Let's look at the Business statuses in the Visitor List.
When you select the Actions button, you can apply a Business Status from the list of statuses that are set to Show in the previous setup screen.
You can also use the Status button on the visit detail.
By leveraging business status, you can keep your visitor data structured and actionable, ensuring the right teams are notified at the right time.
